Open Atelier Saturday September 23 and Sunday September 24

As an artist, a lot of my time is spent working alone. Painting can be rather solitary. So when I have the opportunity to share what I'm what I'm working on, to open my studio to the public and invite them in to my space, I embrace it whole-heartedly. I'll have the water on for tea, and the coffee pot ready. 

BZK (Belangenvereniging Zwolse Kunstenaars) is sponsoring an open atelier weekend with tons of studios through all through out Zwolle open to the public. 

I'm right around the corner from the Museum de Fundatie. You can enter the studio building from either 21 Praubstraat or through the back entrance 8 Goudsteeg. At the back entrance there is a small courtyard where you can park your bicycle. 

I'm all the way at the top, in the attic studio across from Kirstin Offringa with her cheerful prints and graphics. Come say hello! Tali Farchi, and Sigrid Spier are open on the ground floor. As are Tiemen Voorhorst, Emmy Bergsma, Marjolein Verbruggen and Aleks Deurlo. It's a great opportunity to pull back the curtain and see inside working studios. ​I hope to see you!
